Friday, 29 May 2026 – AMAR Law Firm & Public Interest Law Office (AMAR), representing 87 Lenders as Victims in the case concerning the alleged criminal acts of fraud, embezzlement, dissemination of false information through electronic media, and money laundering related to sharia investment activities of PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI), has officially submitted all restitution application documents to the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK)
The total restitution amount submitted by the Lenders is Rp24,782,290,771.00 (twenty-four billion seven hundred eighty-two million two hundred ninety thousand seven hundred seventy-one rupiah). The submission of these documents constitutes a further legal step to ensure that the losses suffered by the Victims may be recovered and restored through LPSK’s Simpusaka and e-Restitution mechanisms.
Through the restitution mechanism, LPSK plays a role in facilitating and assessing the calculation of victim’s losses, which may subsequently be submitted as a part of the criminal justice process. Restitution itself constitutes compensation provided to the Victims by the perpetrators of criminal acts.
This restitution application is expected to ensure the Victims’ losses are duly refledted in the Public Prosecutor’s indictment and prosecution, considered by the Panel of Judges in its decision, and used as a basis for restoring the Victim’s rights. To date, the verification process remains ongoing and has been extended until 22 June 2026.
AMAR will continue to oversee this process professionally, independently, and with integrity, as part of its commitment to promoting the recovery of losses, the protection of the Victim’s rights, and enforcement of justice-oriented law.
